“The James Room'', located at 319 Main Street in Farmingdale, is a collaboration between “317 Main Street” and “The Nutty Irishman.”  Our focus is to meet the needs of guests looking for an elegant and elevated space for private occasions.  The space is designed to accommodate 45 people or less, for either a sit down dinner or a cocktail party with passed hors d'oeuvres. Weekend Brunch Events are also available.

     Built with elegance and privacy in mind, the space has wide plank oak hardwood floors, tall custom built tray ceilings, modern style lighting, imported tile & bathroom fixtures, and custom made banquette seating.  The James Room offers a private entrance from Main Street, as well as a private restroom for your guests convenience, not shared by any other establishment.  There is also an adjoining French door leading to the event space of The Nutty Irishman, which can be used for those looking for a private space during music events at The Nutty Irishman.

     Ideal gatherings would include bridal/baby showers, private dinner parties, corporate events (fully equipped with state of the art audio visual equipment), bachelorette parties, milestone birthdays, and private gatherings.  Chef Eric LeVine has created an elegant menu ranging from a passed hors d’oeuvres cocktail party to a full sit down multi course dining experience.
